The MOZ SEO Expert Quiz was one of the reference points when this was built, alongside the LinkedIn SEO Assessment. The difference is that this one explains every answer, is updated for 2026, and includes a block on AI search that predates none of the current changes.
If you have taken the MOZ quiz, this will feel familiar in structure and harder in the AI section.
Is this an SEO certification?
No, and it is worth being straight about that. This is a certificate of achievement from AdSchoolMaster, not an accredited certification from a standards body. No such body exists for SEO.
What it does show is that you scored 80% or above on a thirty-question test built from official search engine guidance. People put it on LinkedIn and in job applications, and it is honest about what it is.
Can I use this to prepare for an SEO job interview?
Yes. Many of these questions come up in SEO interviews, particularly the ones on crawling, indexing, canonicals and the difference between what Google says and what the industry repeats.
The explanations matter more than the score here. If you can explain why an answer is right rather than just recognising it, you are ready for the interview.
